Appreciation to everyone in our amazing network of activists and organizers! Together we have collected over 6,100 petition signatures! We are now nearly two thirds of the way towards our goal of 10,000 signatures to Governor Maura Healey calling on her to put a halt on new gas system expansion until the administration develops a plan for a just and swift transition to clean, renewable energy.

While we continue to call for executive action to Put Gas in the Past, we are also working on the legislative side, supporting the Put Gas in the Past bills S.2135 and H.3237. The effort to pass this legislation is reaching a critical moment, and we need your help.

Here’s how you can help move this legislation moves forward:

Attend this webinar tonight,July 12, from 6 to 7pm to learn more about the legislation and how to write effective testimony and submit comments.

Come to the hearings (in person or virtually) on July 26th and  July 27th

WRITE: Submit written testimony in favor of S.2135 and H.3237. Send your written testimony to the Senate TUE members to, and to the House TUE members to JointCommittee.Utilities& by Friday, July 28th at 5:00 p.m.
