Natalie M. Blais, State Representative, First Franklin District, invites you to join her at the Leverett Town Hall on January 16th at 6:30 pm for a presentation and discussion about the Transportation and Climate Initiative (TCI) and transportation challenges in rural communities.
TCI is a regional collaboration of 11 Northeast and Mid-Atlantic states and the District of Columbia that seeks to improve transportation, develop the clean energy economy and reduce carbon emissions from the transportation sector.
Joining Rep. Blais will be Chris Dempsey, Director, Transportation for Massachusetts (T4MA) and Stephanie Cooper, Deputy Commissioner for Policy and Planning at the Massachusetts Department of Environmental Protection.
At this meeting, T4MA and MassDEP will give an overview of TCI and an update on where we are today. This will be followed by an interactive discussion on how and what kinds of programs and projects should be prioritized with funding generated by TCI.
