A Student-Community Forum at GCC addresses how local agriculture, forestry, water issues, economy and energy relate to the twin crises of climate change and attacks on democracy.
How can we work towards a healthy, productive and just local economy and ecology?
Co-sponsored by the GCC Social Sciences Dept., the Honor Scholars Program, and Community Engagement, and organized by the Climate & Democracy Project with support from the Traprock Center for Peace and Justice and Wendell State Forest Alliance.
The event will open at 1:30 pm with info displays by participating groups in the upper lobby. Please email cdp@crocker.com with the subject: Oct.25 and include your name and contact info to reserve space to display, as well as for more information.
