We warmly invite you to join us this coming Monday, June 22nd, for our monthly Climate Action NOW Gathering. Become a part of our welcoming and growing community. Meet others who care deeply about addressing the climate catastrophe. Learn about options for local, regional and national engagement and action.
The theme of our June meeting is building solidarity among peoples’ movements, in particular the struggles for racial and economic justice and equality.
Following a brief update about our work with the Springfield Climate Justice Coalition, a significant part of the meeting will focus on the following four work groups, from which you can choose on Monday night.
Renewable Massachusetts: Working in solidarity with multiple groups in the state and region to stop all new fossil fuel infrastructure and to push for a rapid shift to renewable energy.
Legislative and Media Outreach: Actively working to shift our elected officials and the public narrative towards a renewable energy future.
Mothers Out Front: See below for details about this exciting work focusing on the “Road to Paris” and Monday Action Circles
Stop the Bomb Trains: Non-Violent Civil Disobedience: See our newsletter for more details
