Calling all climate activists! The resistance to the proposed Tennessee Gas Pipeline through Western Mass has exploded lately, and there is a ton of inspiring work going on. But we need help! Can you give some of your time or skills in the following areas?
- Weekly or bi-weekly newsletter: we need someone to put in a few hours a week to compile a newsletter using the (very user-friendly) Mail Chimp service.
- Writing our story: It would be really key to have a freelancer to write op-eds to papers across the state. The more small papers that pick it up, the more pressure on the big guys to run with it!
- Basic training: We need a few people to get familiar with all the research that has been gathered on the pipeline to be shared at various kinds of gatherings to let as many people as possible know about the project.
- Petitioning/tabling: We have a small team that will be attending fairs, festivals and farmers markets across the state this summer getting signatures for the pipeline petition and handing out information. The more bodies the better!
