Bus Information for April 29 DC March for Climate, Jobs and Justice

Pioneer Valley Transportation to the

2017 People’s Climate March in DC

AMHERST BUSES
The Sierra Club has two buses leaving from Amherst. Tickets are $65 each, plus PayPal fees:
http://sierraclub.org/massachusetts/chapter-store
Buses will leave UMass Amherst and Hampshire College around 9:30-10 PM on Friday, April 28, arriving in Washington DC Saturday morning, April 29. The buses will then depart Washington, DC around 7-8 PM, returning to their departure point early morning Sunday, April 30.
Sierra had asked me to keep the buses under wraps; their tickets are subsidized, and they wanted to give students time to fill seats. However, after we received a subsidy from 350.org to match their price, they agreed to let us publicize their buses.
HOLYOKE BUS
We are partnering with neighborhood groups to fill the bus from Holyoke. At this point, I’m not sure how many seats we can release to the general public. I’ll let you know as soon as I can.
NORTHAMPTON BUSES
Tickets for the Northampton buses will be $65 dollars, plus merchant fees. Northampton buses will depart Sheldon Field around 12:00 AM and the Round House lot around 12:15 AM, and arrive in DC by 9:00 AM. They will depart DC around 6:00 PM, and will return home around 2 AM. Buses will stop at a rest area every two hours.

Our online portal is not ready, but if you would like to avoid the $2.25/ticket merchant fee, make a check out to Climate Action Now with “bus ticket” in the memo, and either bring it to the Monthly Gathering on Monday, March 27, at 7:00pm at the Unitarian Universalist Society of Amherst, or fill out the form at http://gotoclimatemarch.org/ and mail a check to:

William Albritton
93 Bancroft Rd
Northampton, MA 01060

If you can pay a bit extra, it will help us get more people to the march. If you would like to go and truly cannot afford a ticket, let us know. We may be able to help.
